Is 500MB of monthly data enough for the Horizon service GPS and tracking features?
Yes, 500MB is more than enough. Hytera Horizon radios do not download heavy map graphics; they only transmit lightweight, text-based GPS coordinates—including latitude, longitude, speed, and timestamps. Voice calling uses more data than GPS tracking. A device typically uses less than 50MB to 150MB per month, leaving you with a massive data buffer. The 500MB limit is primarily a consideration for video calling rather than voice calling.
